The eight level label is our most popular irreversible indicator. It gives the largest possible area of adhesion and the most visible number of temperature cells.

The label comes in five ranges, A to E, with temperature ranges from 37° C to 260° C (99ºF to 500ºF). The label measures 51 x 18 mm (2.00" by 0.7") and carries temperatures in both Centigrade and Fahrenheit on the scale.

It is widely used in a variety of engineering applications from monitoring temperatures during transportation, providing evidence of temperature achievement in a thermal cleaning process and for running safety checks on machinery or warranted moving parts.

If placing the indicators in an environment where they can be exposed to oil or aggressive conditions we recommend the labels are sealed in place on a clean dry surface with one or more layers of clear epoxy.

When using these indicators, ensure they are kept only in refrigeration temperatures and NOT deep freeze situations. The labels must be applied to a dry, clean surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Please also note that touching the indicator may activate the indicator in summer months, especially if ambient temperature is at or around 29ºC.
